Journal of Neuroscience, Psychology, and Economics
The
Journal of Neuroscience, Psychology, and Economics (JNPE) publishes original research dealing with the application of psychological theories and/or neuroscientific methods to business and economics. As an interdisciplinary journal, JNPE
serves academicians in the fields of neuroscience, psychology, business, and economics and is an appropriate outlet for articles designed to be of interest, concern, and value to its audience of scholars and professionals. Manuscripts that
use psychological theory and/or neuroscientific methods to better understand the various aspects of business and economics are appropriate for submission. Topics may include (but are not restricted to):
:: application of concepts
and methods from neuroscience and/or psychology in solving business and economics problems (e.g., consumer behavior, behavioral finance, organizational behavior, management, decision science, and game theory),
:: analysis of
interpersonal behavior (e.g., relationships between customer-supplier, supervisor-subordinate, and/or investor-firm) with the means of neuroscience and/or psychology,
:: discussion of ethical and legal issues at the interface of
psychology, neuroscience, and business and economics research,
:: evaluation of the state of the field of research in neuroeconomics, and
:: presentation of state-of-the-art techniques for solving neuroeconomic problems.
Manuscripts may be conceptual or empirical in nature, and feature quantitative and/or qualitative analysis.
